- Have a supported SCORM ZIP exported from your existing course, and permission to use its content.
- The importer recognizes specific embedded formats from Rise 360 and Easygenerator. It is not a universal SCORM-to-source converter.
- Import supported Rise 360 and easygenerator SCORM packages or course JSON for free, including AI-authored and AI-edited JSON. Review the imported course before publishing.

- On the home screen, choose Import course. The same picker accepts course JSON; see the AI workflow guide for JSON imports.
- Select the exported ZIP without extracting or changing it first.
- Save the converted result as a new .agavien project when prompted.
- Read the import report. It identifies content that was approximated or skipped.
- Review all chapters, question answers, media, interactions, and completion settings.
- Replace unsupported or missing content, adjust the design, and preview the whole course.
- Export a fresh learner package only after checking the conversion.

Supported content is converted to Agavien elements and media is copied into the new project. Some structures and layouts differ, so a successful import still requires editorial review.
Tips & troubleshooting, link to this section
- An unrecognized-package error means the required embedded course data was not found; a SCORM manifest alone is not sufficient.
- Pay particular attention to graded quizzes, branching interactions, embeds, and media filenames.
- Keep the original export so you can compare the source with the converted course.
- Agavien Studio is independent of Articulate and Easygenerator; import support does not imply affiliation.
