- Use data that you can explain clearly. Check that external content allows embedding.
- Have the source attachment ready and use descriptive link or file labels.

- Choose Add block → Media → Chart to present data. Select a bar, line, or pie chart and edit its labels and values.
- Add a nearby explanation of what the chart demonstrates; do not make the visual the only source of the conclusion.
- Choose Embed for hosted content. Enter a suitable player or embed URL using the element’s controls.
- Choose Attachment to import a file learners can download. Give it a recognizable title or description.
- Preview each element. Open an embed as a learner and download the attachment to confirm it is the intended file.
- Test again after export, especially when opening locally or inside an LMS.

Charts present your authored data, embeds show external resources, and attachments provide packaged downloads. These are separate delivery mechanisms.
Tips & troubleshooting, link to this section
- Embedded sites can reject iframe display or require cookies, login, or internet access. Provide a useful alternative when possible.
- A chart is not a connection to a live data source; update its values when your source changes.
- Replacing a file on your computer does not necessarily replace the attachment already imported into the project. Update the element explicitly.
