## Before you start

- Open a course. These overrides affect player labels, not the app’s editor menus or your authored paragraphs.

## Step by step

1. Choose Options → Text & Terms.

2. Find the label you want to change and enter your preferred wording.

3. Leave a field blank when you want to use the player’s default wording.

4. To reuse the wording, choose Save current as new set and give it a recognizable name.

5. Apply a saved set in another course, or update an existing set with the current wording when appropriate.

6. Preview the course and check that the labels still fit buttons and make their actions clear.

## What to expect

Your course uses its overrides instead of the matching default labels. Saved sets help keep wording consistent across courses on the same app installation.

## Tips & troubleshooting

- Reset all to defaults removes the course’s label overrides; review before using it.

- A label change should describe the actual action. Avoid renaming a submit action to something that sounds like navigation.

- Use Translations for authored content in alternate languages, and Course language for built-in default labels.
