## Before you start

- Open a chapter and decide whether the content is prose, a highlighted message, a comparison, or code.

## Step by step

1. Choose Add block → Text and select the appropriate element: Text, Statement, Callout, Quote, Columns, Table, or Code.

2. Replace the starter content. Use the rich-text controls where available for headings, emphasis, lists, and links.

3. Use a Statement for a concise key message, a Callout for an explicitly highlighted note, and a Quote for attributed words.

4. For Columns or Table, edit each content area or cell. Keep entries short enough to remain readable on a phone.

5. For Code, enter the code content and choose its available formatting options.

6. Use Add block → Layout → Divider to separate sections where useful. Open Block settings to adjust width, spacing, or background, then preview on desktop and mobile.

## What to expect

Your explanation appears as structured learner-facing content rather than one long paragraph. Different text elements serve different reading tasks.

## Tips & troubleshooting

- Pasting formatted text can bring unwanted styling. Review the result in preview.

- Avoid relying on color alone to distinguish warnings or instructions; include meaningful wording.

- Use an Attachment for a file learners need to download, rather than pasting an entire document into a table.
