## Before you start

- Write observable learning outcomes, such as Identify three warning signs.

- Add some course content and questions so there is evidence to map.

## Step by step

1. Open Options → Learning objective map.

2. Choose Add objective and enter its title and optional description.

3. For each objective, select the elements that teach or practise it.

4. Select the individual knowledge-check or quiz questions that assess it.

5. Review the map’s teaching and assessment coverage. Add content or questions where the evidence is missing.

6. Revisit the map after major changes to the course.

## What to expect

The map records connections between authored objectives, content, and questions. It helps identify coverage gaps; it does not judge whether an explanation or question is educationally sufficient.

## Tips & troubleshooting

- Prefer a specific action such as Compare two options over a vague outcome such as Understand the topic.

- Deleting an objective removes its mappings, so review the change before continuing.

- A mapped question still needs accurate answers and feedback.
