## Before you start

- Open a course and choose Options → Course settings.

- Editor language changes Studio’s interface. Course language changes learner-facing labels and exported page language.

## Step by step

1. Set Course language for the learner interface. This does not translate the content you wrote.

2. Choose Free navigation to let learners open any chapter, or Sequential to unlock chapters after the previous chapter is viewed to the end.

3. Choose the Chapter menu position and Menu size to fit the course layout.

4. Under Completion, choose When all chapters are viewed or When the quiz is passed.

5. For quiz completion, set the Pass mark and ensure there is at least one graded quiz. The default threshold is 80% when no custom value is set.

6. Choose whether to display completion criteria and the completion animation.

7. Preview the complete learner journey, then test completion and resuming in the intended delivery environment.

## What to expect

View completion marks a course complete after every chapter has been scrolled to the end. Quiz completion requires a score at or above the pass mark. Graded quiz scores can still be reported in view mode.

## Tips & troubleshooting

- Completing a knowledge check does not satisfy a quiz pass rule.

- Sequential navigation depends on viewing chapters; it is not the same as requiring a passed quiz before each chapter.

- A Continue control governs later content within a chapter, separately from these course-wide settings.
